At Hollingwells Equestrian ltd Pony Club, we offer a wide variety of activities and experiences for children and young people who have an interest in horses and ponies.
Our club is suitable for all abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced riders, providing opportunities to develop riding skills, horse care knowledge, and the confidence needed to work safely and comfortably with horses and ponies.
We are a friendly and welcoming club that works hard to ensure every member feels included and supported. Our focus is on learning together, building confidence, developing new skills, and encouraging teamwork in a fun and positive environment.

At Hollingwells, we believe that horse care and groundwork are just as important as ridden activities. Throughout the year, we invite professionals from a range of equine careers to deliver workshops and demonstrations.
Members have the opportunity to learn about areas such as equine dentistry, veterinary care, farriery, nutrition, and many other important aspects of the equine industry. These workshops also provide opportunities for members to complete achievement tests and earn Pony Club badges.
Hollingwells Equestrian Pony Club is also proud to have an elected Junior Committee. Each year, committee members work together to organise our annual horse show, gaining valuable experience in teamwork, leadership, and event management.
With support from our dedicated instructors and volunteers, they help secure sponsors, prepare schedules, organise catering, and coordinate the venue to ensure the event is a success.
Our aim is to provide a supportive, educational, and enjoyable environment where young people can develop lifelong skills, make new friends, and share their passion for horses and ponies.

Once a month we run club rallies, these days are generally non mounted and include a mix of hands-on activities, games and interactive learning.
Led by our experienced instructors as well as guest speakers making each rally a way to learn a new and exciting equine skill.
During Easter, Summer and October holidays we will host a multi-day camp.
Our Easter and October camps are usually two days whilst our summer camp is a three day event which includes the opportunity to sleep over at the yard - every horsey kids dream!
Camps are action packed with ridden and non-ridden adventures, we tailer activities to suit all ages and abilities so everyone feels included.
Pony club Achievement badges provide a fun and interactive way for members to develop their knowledge of horsemanship and give them the opportunity to develop the skills to care for Horses and Ponies to the highest possible standards.
There is an array of badges in terms of topics and their difficulty level, providing a clear path for progression and ensuring there is something for everyone!
The Pony Club Tests E to A are at the heart of all Pony Club training, both in the UK and globally. The Pony Club Tests enable members to develop comprehensive knowledge and skills on correct horse care and riding.
The highest Test, the A Test, is a sought-after accolade which is recognised worldwide and held by many top-level equestrian professionals.
